On July 27, 2009, we have seen the ViewSonic VNB100 and VNB101 Netbooks, and recently, we got to see the VNB102 and VNB132 notebook that will begin selling in November. The ViewSonic VNB102 netbook, according to preliminary information, is made based on the Intel Atom N270 processor with a clock frequency of 1.6 GHz, equipped with 1GB of RAM and hard disk capacity of 160GB. Its display is 10.1-inch diagonal with supports resolutions 1024×600 pixels. The ViewSonic VNB102 netbook comes equipped with 3-in-1 card reader.
It also features D-Sub connector and three USB port. ViewSonic VNB102 netbook is running on Windows XP OS. As ViewSonic VNB132 (a.k.a ViewSonic Pro) notebook is applied Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 with a frequency of 1.3 GHz, 2GB of RAM, 320GB hard drive. Its display is 13.3-inch screen with resolution 1280×800 pixels. ViewSonic VNB132 notebook has brings two USB port, HDMI and D-Sub, multi-format card reader and rechargeable battery that provides up to 8 hours of battery life. ViewSonic VNB132 notebook has pre-installed Windows 7 OS.
ViewSonic VNB102 Netbook is expected to come on the market, it will come with two versions: with a 3-cell battery for $349 (provide 3 to 4 hours on a charge) and with a 6-cell battery for $399 (provide about 6 hours of endurance) respectively. ViewSonic VNB132 Notebook can be bought in bundle with an 8X DVD Supermulti drive for $899 (or without it, for $799).
