The gadget features support for Dual-Band CDMA Revision A, Tri-Band UMTS / HSPA and Quad-Band GSM / GPRS / EDGE frequencies, which makes it fit for use anywhere around the planet.
Moreover, Verizon Wireless’s VZAccess Manager software enables customers to easily install and configure the modem. Its unique trick is a sliding cover that protects the swiveling USB connector when it’s not in use. This Verizon UMW190 World 3G USB Modem officially supports PCs running Windows 2000, XP or Vista and having support for SMS messaging over the cellular network.
