The Griffin Clarifi 3G iPhone Case

The Griffin Clarifi is a case for the iPhone 3G with a built in lens, which allows you to takes incredibly crisp snapshots. Just take a look at the picture on the left side which shows the difference. That’s right, the lens can be slided to cover your 3G iPhone camera lens, to take close up photos, the case is made of polycarbonate, and of course it looks pretty good, isn’t it?. The Griffin Clarifi 3G iPhone Case is available for around $30 USD.

Griffin Clarifi is an innovative iPhone casing which has the double function. In addition to protect your iPhone from scratch, the back cover also has function as a lens to take photo at close range (macro). Additional lenses in the back of this section not only allow to take photo at close range but at the same time provide quality better results, especially when you have to take a photo document or business card.

With the iPhone, that minimum distance can be achieved only 18 inches (45 cm) but with the additional lenses in Griffin Clarifi, you can take photos in a short distance away that is 4 inches (10 cm). The additional lens in Griffin Clarifi can be disabled by slide the lens, so the iPhone will work normally.

Overall, for around $30, it may be on the mid-to-high end of the price range for iPhone cases, but it’s still worth. Whether you’re a fan of photography and want to experiment with some close up shots, or simply want some added protection for your lens, it’s hard to not recommend this. Just make sure the macro lens remains free from fingerprints before you attempt to snap a close-up image.
