According the various internet sources that the HTC and China Mobile, the China’s largest cellular operator, introduced a new Dopod T8388 Qilin mobile phone. Still quoted from some trustable medias like htcpedia, the HTC Dopod T8388 Qilin is equipped with 3.6-inch resistive touch TFT display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels (WVGA), a built in TV antenna and CMMB TV receiver standard.

According to Engadget, the upcoming HTC Touch HD 2 will be powered by Android 2.0. The original Touch HD got a lot of buzz late last year, and HTC then promised that a similar device would be released in the U.S. this year. Obviously they didn’t have the follow-up to the HTC Touch HD2 in mind. Also, the rumor says that this sequel of the HTC Touch HD2 will shun Windows Mobile operating system in the favor of Google’s Android operating system. Not that we mind the Android, but it feels like this Android mania is stretching just a bit too far.

The HTC Whitestone, Mega and Tachi got leaked (yes, leaked) and will come from Verizon as soon as possible However, the HTC Whitestone will come with a 3.6-inch WVGA display, a 528MHz Qualcomm processor, 256MB of RAM and Windows Mobile 6.1. The HTC Mega will get you a 2.8-inch QVGA screen, a 3-megapixel camera, a 528MHz Qualcomm processor, 256MB of RAM and Windows Mobile 6.5. We don’t exactly have info on the HTC Tachi but at least we have the picture of it.

Bear in your mind that it’s not only AT&T that’s going to bring you new HTC devices soon. Verizon also has some HTC handsets scheduled for launch at some point in the future: the Whitestone, the Mega and the Tachi.

In an effort to show T-Mobile’s customers that they deserve something newer than the wing, it appears that the HTC Touch Pro2 will be coming on August 12 while the Samsung Gravity 2 (SGH-t469) is going to be available on August 19, reports the Cellphonesignal.

As already reported, the Android developing team plans to come to the market with a series of new firmware version and major updates for the platform during the ongoing year, of course one of the upcoming updates would be Android 2.0, also known as Donut.

The new firmware version is reportedly much more stable and coming with a lot of bug fixes, which means that there might not be visible things included in the package.

Verizon Wireless HTC on June 25 ago has introduced the Verizon Wireless HTC Ozone, the latest Windows Mobile smartphone to hit Verizon Wireless. The Ozone features 3G and Wi-Fi networking, a simple design, QWERTY keyboard, and global roaming support.

Other features are 1500 mAh battery for extended operating time, an international charging adapters for travelers, VZ Navigator for audible turn-by-turn directions, visual Voice Mail, mobile email, and also “sliding panel” user interface, IM clients for AIM, Windows and Yahoo! Messengers, and a one-touch messaging shortcut key.
