In an effort to show T-Mobile’s customers that they deserve something newer than the wing, it appears that the HTC Touch Pro2 will be coming on August 12 while the Samsung Gravity 2 (SGH-t469) is going to be available on August 19, reports the Cellphonesignal.

In a show of good cheer, the device will be available in all channels at launch, in a rare gesture, even employees will be able to purchase the device. More info, read below .

With a target audience of “successful professionals” (as opposed to unsuccessful ones?), the Touch Pro2 will offer Microsoft Outlook Exchange Sync, 3G, and a QWERTY keyboard.

Meanwhile, the Gravity 2 (SGH-t469) features a slide-out horizontal QWERTY keyboard and sports a thinner design. The Gravity 2 comes in two color options – berry mauve and metallic pumpkin, multiple messaging capabilities, a 2-megapixel camera and camcorder, a built-in MP3 player and expandable memory up to 16GB.

Granted, T-Mobile can be late to the party from time to time, but it’s nice to see that they’re picking up some new smartphones. No word on pricing yet, however, but if the pricing is in the right area could open up good options for all mobile phone fans around the globe.
