MobileOne’s Novatel MiFi 2352 Mobile Hotspot
Novatel Wireless and MobileOne, launched the MiFi 2352 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot, making MobileOne the first Asian operator to offer a MiFi device. The MiFi 2352 supports triband HSPA (900/1900/2100Mhz) and quadband GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900Mhz). The MiFi 2352 being such an exciting product is that it is SIM-unlocked, which makes it compatible with SIM cards from nearly any cellular provider. Travelling with ultraportable MiFi abroad is now possible and should be easy to do.

Rogers Wireless Begins 21Mbps HSPA+Network
It seems that Rogers is getting really aggressive lately. After announcing netbooks with embedded 3G wireless, and giving their Internet users 50 Mbps speeds, Rogers has announced that they will become the first telco in North America to roll out HSPA+ which will give users speeds of up to 21Mbps anywhere they can get a cell signal.
While this is cool for Canadians and a pretty big coup for Rogers, there is one thing that stops me from jumping up and down. Canada has some of the highest cellular phone rates in the world. So it really doesn’t matter how fast my cellular data connection goes if I can’t afford it. How high are Canadian cell phone rates? Here’s an example of what the rest of the world pays.
Novatel’s MiFi 2372 3G Wi-Fi Hotspot
The Novatel MiFi 2372 router has just been announced, and will work perfectly anywhere in North America. The product comes equipped with support for 3G networks (UMTS/HSPA) plus support for GPRS/EDGE data connections. The Novatel MiFi 2372 supports speeds up to 7.2Mbps (downloads) and a 5.76 Mbps (uploads).

The new Samsung T659, codename Scarlet’s picture get leaked? Yes, why not? …and the image in the left side is its picture! Fyi, the Samsung Scarlet T649 will bring your Bluetooth + EDR, a 2-megapixel camera, quad-band GSM, dual-band WCDMA 1700/2100, an MP3 player and a microSD slot. Sprint Plans To Launch First 3G Femtocell In The Usa Before The End Of The Year
According to the latest news on the web, Sprint is set to come to the market with 3G femtocells before any other carrier in the country does so. Sprint on the other hand is saying that its model will be the first 3G femtocell in the USA.
Recently, AT&T announced that its 3G femtocells would soon enter into a public testing program, and that they would be released commercially before the end of the ongoing year, yet Sprint seems determined to make the move sooner.











AT&T Ready to Launch 3G MicroCell Next Week
AT&T 3G MicroCell is expected to be made available next week in select markets which include Atlanta, San Antonio, Seattle and North Carolina. However, the device may be unveiled in more cities if the company plans to launch it on a larger scale. AT&T 3G MicroCell is a Cisco-made device that like most other femtocells, creates a short-range cellular link that then uses the owner’s home internet connection to send both calls and data.
