Sunno Unveils S880: The Dual OS Smartphone

Sunno, a Chinese mobile phone manufacturer now offers a double treat to mobile phone lovers. The company is all set to unveil its latest innovation known as the S880 that packages both Android and Windows Mobile, dual Operating Systems. The feature rich smartphone packages a 3.6-inch WVGA display reports Techfresh. The Sunno mobile phone is equipped with an 806MHz CPU.

The handset boasts of an 8 megapixel camera and presents Wi-Fi and GPS functionalities. Reportedly, the S880 incorporates a 256/128MB RAM. One of the interesting features of the smartphone is that it allows users to switch between Android and Windows Mobile OS. It would be fascinating to see a device that employs Windows Mobile for its versatility and software selection. Concurrently, users can also benefit from the smooth user interface that is presented by the Android OS.

The pricing and the availability details of the smartphone are still under wraps. However, it seems that the dual OS based handset will be launched on October 15, 2009. Probably the S880 is designed especially for the Chinese mobile market and there is no official word whether the smartphone would be made available outside China.
