SteelSeries is a lesser known company in the mouse arena, but it’s now definitely announcing its two next gaming mice called the Xai and the Kinzu. Both the Xai and the Kinzu are based on the same shape and have very similar looks. The major difference being that the Kinzu is 7% smaller in size. Therefore, the former is a laser-driven mouse capable of 100 to 5000 dpi while the latter is optically-driven and capable of up to 3200 dpi.

With this release, the gaming mouse sector is getting pretty stuffed, of course. With outfits like Razer’s Orochi Bluetooth 4000dpi Mouse producing some pretty nimble critters catering to the needs of hardcore snipers the world over, it’s tough to make a mouse that can stand out.

SteelSeries Xai and Kinzu are expected out in August for $79.99 and $34.99 respectively., respectively.
