Sony has releases its newest BDP-CX960 and the Elevated Standard Blu-ray Disc MegaChangers. The latter models can store and play 400 Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs. You will thus have access to a portable library, also allow you to quickly find the CD you need. There is the possibility of downloading information from Gracenote’s MusicID and VideoID products in order to have your music and videos much better organized.
The BDP-CX7000ES outputs full HD and 24p True Cinema and is designed to work with most third-party automation control systems. It features RS232 connection and IR-in and offers what Sony calls “exceptional audio quality with 7.1 analog output”. If you’re wondering about the difference between the BDP-CX7000ES, well, I am too since it seems to be pretty identical.
Complementing the two MegaChangers comes the BDP-S100, a Blu-ray disc player that allows BD-Live access, is capable of Full HD 1080/60p and 24p True Cinema, as well as upscaling standard definition DVDs to 1080p with the help of Sony’s Precision Cinema technology.
