Firts off, the iPhone 2009 isn’t very far away now, but we’re still jumping at the bit to get as much info about the new smartphone as we can. As reported in a variety of information sources some weeks ago, that the new iPhone 2009 is most likely keeping the current iPhone 3G design and is just increasing performance in the CPU, RAM, Camera and possibly 3G performance (HSDPA) areas. It is pretty much sure at this point that the new iPhone will have a compass and a 32GB storage option.

If all the rumors of a new Apple iPhone 2009 has not persuaded you that the phone will make an appearance at WWDC 2009, then how about a couple of images of it instead, but is this image real or fake. Phones Review did some digging and it seems that these images are from the Apple’s development web server.

The Italian website spaziocellulare first broke the news about these leaked images of the new iPhone 2009, but we will just have to wait just under a week for the Worldwide Developers Conference 2009 to see if this and all the other rumors hold up.
The website states that the new Apple Smartphone will also have a front facing camera, which would be perfect when using with Mobile iChat and Voice Memos application, which is a rumored feature on the iPhone 3.0.
