Nokia 6790 Surge/Mako Smartphone

As reported on a lot.. really a lot of gadget sources about four all new Nokia headed to the US. Now, one of them, Nokia 6790 Surge or sometime it called Mako Phone, has posed for a few live shots and informatios that its final model is Surge, not Mako.

You know, the Nokia 6790 is a Symbian S60 smartphone that will be released by AT&T in the US, probably in the next few months, so things will clear up soon enough. However, the handset is a “messaging focused” one, featuring a landscape QWERTY keyboard, a QVGA display, email, IM, Web browser and Bluetooth with A2DP.

To be more exact, the Nokia 6790 does 850/1900 HSDPA and has a secondary camera for video calls. Its multimedia capabilities include a 2.4″ QVGA screen, Bluetooth with A2DP, a hot-swappable memory card plus it comes with MP3, WMA and AAC audio and H.263, H.264 and WMV video codecs out of the box. The phone also offers Cellular Video, which gives access to some TV content and Video Exchange. And then, the amount of internal memory is 128 MB, it can be expanded to microSD card.
