Nikon CoolPix S640 IS Digital Compact Camera

Again, Nikon announced today the CoolPix S640 Camera along with the Nikon S1000pj, the ultra-fast Nikon ColPix S70, and CoolPix S570. It’s also expected to be available in September with pricing set at about $250 in Calm Black, Velour Red, Precious Pink and Pearl White. The camera features 12.2 megapixels, a 5x Wide Angle NIKKOR lens, ISO from 100-6400 at full resolution, a 2.7-inch Clear Color LCD Display, and of course an ultra-fast auto-focus.

Additional features of the S640 include: a slim, stylish all metal body; 4-way VR Image Stabilization System, short shutter release time lag, Subject Tracking, Scene Auto Selector Mode, and Nikon’s Smart Portrait System and movie mode.
