NetGear RangeMax WNDR3700 Wi-Fi Router
NetGear has recently announced its new RangeMax dual band 802.11 Wi-Fi router codenamed RangeMax WNDR3700. This router gets its name because of its eight internal antennas. The WNDR3700 handles as much as 350Mbps in real-world conditions. RangeMax WNDR3700 is the first NetGear router with its own broadband usage meter to track consumption across the entire network when using providers with low bandwidth caps, like Rogers or Time Warner Cable. It’s also a dual band router by which users can wirelessly send data over the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands at the same time.
It also has gigabit Ethernet ports for transfer between WAN and LAN at a speed up to 500Mbps.USB drives support formatted to several file systems, including over the network, and users have remote access to HTTP and FTP sites. It’s also DLNA compatible, allowing it to stream media to home theater devices as well as supporting gaming consoles like the PS3. NetGear RangeMax WNDR3700 Router is available in US at a price of US $190.
