Have heard about Zune HD? Not yet? Well, don’t worry i’ll tell you. So Zune HD is the next Microsoft’s Zune entertainment brand that provides an integrated digital entertainment experience. It looks like the equivalent of the Sony X-series media player, which also has an OLED screen.
Zune HD comes with a built-in HD Radio receiver, supported HD video files from the device through a premium high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) audiovisual docking station (sold separately) direct to an HD TV in 720p, full-screen Internet browser optimized for multitouch functionality, also Wi-Fi enabled, allowing for instant streaming to the device from the more than 5 million-track Zune music store.
Yikes, the Zune HD is set to feature a multitouch (capacitive) OLED screen in a 16:9 aspect ratio and will have a TV out port on the side (apparently HDMI). Coming in 16 and 32GB versions, the device will also support wireless syncing to your computer. Some even speculate the PMP will support 3D Xbox games, if the Zune HD will actually use Nvidia’s Tegra chipset.
However as previously reported by various information sources, the Zune HD is set to launch this fall (probably September) with new details of international availability in Canada, the U.K, and France.
So let us wait for its release.
