Duros has recently upgraded its 1205-PS fixed-amount, rugged computer with an Intel Core Duo 1.6 GHz processor, the RAM and two additional USB ports.
These new upgrades boost performance in the field for the 1205-PS, which, with its solid aluminum housing, is one of the most rugged fixed-mount computers on the market.
The Duros 1205-PS specifically designed to meet the needs of police, security, EMS and fire applications, the Duros 1205-PS rugged computer features an ultra-thin, compact design, allowing for flush dashboard mounting that is clear of airbag zones and limits intrusion into valuable cabin space. With the CPU, display, power supply and connection ports all integrated into a single unit, multiple components and cables are not required.
Further, the SVGA display is equipped with a wide, 120-degree viewing angle and can be activated by most of the honed devices, entailing a gloved or ungloved finger. Well, its 1,000-nit, sunlight-viewable display features quick blanking and full dimming for times when revealed information bears some right. Moreover, with various options for RAM, HDD processors, keyboards and radio activity, the 1205-PS can be configured to meet an organization’s specified needs.
The powerful 1205-PS computer comes with a five-year warranty. Duros still needs to reveal information on its pricing and availability structure.
