HP Prepares New Pavilion Notebook Models

According to the documentation from Hewlett-Packard Softpaq number SP44304, the company prepares to announce a couple of new updates to its line of notebook PCs, with the company even planning a couple of new netbooks as well. There is a number of new systems mentioned in these pages, but, at a quick glance, HP is expected to update the Pavilion line with the DM1, DM3, DV8 and TM2 models, and some Mini families.

HP iPAQ K3 Obsidian Handset Will Come with a Touchscreen?

The HP iPAQ K3 Obsidian reportedly will come to the market both with touchscreen capabilities on its AMOLED display as well as with a BlackBerry-like QWERTY keypad. The new iPAQ K3 “Obsidian” is expected to feature not only the upcoming iteration of Windows Mobile, but also a Qualcomm chipset and a 528MHz ARM processor, 256MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM and a microSD memory card slot.

HP Photosmart Premium with Touchsmart Web

HP just unveiled their HP PhotoSmart Premium with TouchSmart Web home printer, which has a web-connected touchpanel on the front, allowing you to connect to the Internet, and controlled both the printer and web data for printing.

HP PhotoSmart Premium is the world’s first web-connected printer with an extra-large 4.3-inch touchscreen panel and proved to be the largest touchscreen panel in the market. Yes, it’s actually an All-in-One printer, so you can use it for web prints, faxes, copies and scans. It also featured both wired or wireless connectivity options so you can obviously use it as your home network printer.

HP Introduces Pavilion Slimline s5000, p6000, Elite e9000, Compaq Presario CQ5000 Desktop PCs

HP has announced four of its desktop lines include: HP Slimline, HP Pavilion, HP Elite and Compaq Presario, also with an update to their MediaSmart Server software for TouchSmart PCs.

The PCs feature stylish new looks that complement any room and give consumers a fast and powerful computing experience with plentiful storage for digital content. In addition, HP have announced that select consumer PCs bought from today onwards will be eligible for their Windows 7 Upgrade Program.

HP Mini 5101 Netbook Unveiled

HP has announced to refresh its Mini 5100 series by launching a new model, Mini 5101. It’s will offer enhancements and some features that were deliberately omitted from the original Mini 5100. However, one advantage to the HP Mini 5101 is that HP will include a fast-performing 7,200 RPM hard drive standard with the unit.

Alternatively, an optional Solid State Drive (SSD) is available in either 80GB or 128GB capacities. If that was not enough for you, HP is also going to offer a Gobi-powered HP Mobile Broadband module allows users to access the Internet around the world.
