TrafficTweet for the iPhone from Mobomo
The new app is TrafficTweet for the iPhone from Mobomo, an app that brings Twitter traffic data to your iPhone to give you the most up-to-date information for your drive. TrafficTweet mixes updates from its users with data from other sources like Yahoo. Yes, when you use the app to make a traffic report, you’re actually sharing that report via Twitter — it’s sent as an update from your Twitter account to TrafficTweet, and from there it’s pulled back into the application. Within the TrafficTweet app (which costs 99 cents), you can see a map of all the updates, but since those tweets are all public, another developer could use them to build other applications.
The TrafficTwitter app for the iPhone is now available for download at the Apple iTunes App Store for only $0.99. Cheap enough, eh?
Warp Defense Game for iPhone and iPod Touch
The game is very addicting and allows you to leave in the middle of a game and return to where you left off. You’ll love this feature because it constantly keeps you coming back for more so you can continue building up a high score.
If you click the info button on the bottom right corner, you’ll find directions for the game and a few options. Players can set a time limit for each set of words. I like to keep mine under 3 minutes because I find that if there is no rush in the game then it loses its appeal.
NFL Mobile Live Application for the Palm Pre
The NFL Mobile Live application is coming to the Palm Pre on August 1st. We just heard that we should be able to expect WebOS 1.1 within a month, but we didn’t know if it would come with more apps. We can’t say for sure that NFL Mobile Live will come with 1.1, but it seems like a solid guess to us. In the comments on that 1.1 post, DSulls points us to a Sprint Support site about this application, indicating some excellent news, such as NFL Mobile Live will be delivered via an OTA Update, and it will be pre-loaded on all Palm Pre phones on August 1st.
Similar to Sprint’s NASCAR app, NFL mobile live allows you to get live audio of every regular season game, live video of certain NFL Network games 24/7. Not to mention “Red Zone Alerts” to let you know when a team is likely to score. Since Sprint requires an Everything Data plan, there won’t be any additional charge for the application.

iPhone 3G with OS 3.0 Unlocked By Ultrasn0w
Again, this’s about Apple iPhone
. Yeah, the iPhone Dev Team (no relation) have released a video demo of their latest unlocking tools, including yellowsn0w, doing its magic on an iPhone 3G running OS 3.0 which is set to be released sometime Firiday, 19 June, reports engadget. That’s right, they’ve also revealed the development of a new tool, ultrasn0w, which they claim should be able to unlock any iPhone to-date, running any OS version.
The trick to how they’re getting the jailbreak hasn’t been revealed yet for fear of Apple making a fix at the eleventh hour, but if everything goes according to plan, the new hacking software should be out Friday in time for the iPhone 3G S (no guarantee it’ll work on the new device). Hit up the read link to watch the magic happen right before your very own eyes.
